The history of UNISTROJ FG goes back to 1970, when the company Strojárne nákupných podnikov operated on the territory of former Czechoslovakia. After 1989, the company GALASTROJ was established by transformation of state-owned enterprise, which existed until 1995. The company UNISTROJ Inc. was set in by restructuring . In 2005 the company
was transformed into UNISTROJ FG Ltd .

During the entire development the listed companies were dealing with production and development of technological equipments for the agro-food industry. After 2000 the company has begun to adapt its activities to market needs and in addition to the key
activities it has started to address the production of technological equipment for the furniture and woodworking industries, cement plants and other industries. The production has been extended to include air handling equipment and accessories, various engineering groups and sub-machine equipment.
